99% of all Webinars are
visual only (PowerPoint) presentations which
means the Presenter must have scripted out
their show and have a good working knowledge
of Microsoft Power Point to create the
presentation and load it on a server in
advance to doing their show.
These Webinars are therefore canned and the
presenter has to mostly stick to the script
without deviation or allowing a segway by
Q&A.
Additionally, in
order for the audience to hear the
Presenter, they have to call a Teleconference bridge. This means all
listener-attendees must have both a PC
connected to the internet and a telephone
line with the handset to their ear to0
follow the lecture/presentation.
The problem is, whilst many Webinar
systems can handle several hundred
attendees, the majority of phone
bridges hold only 99 callers. So the
effective audience is limited the number of
people on the telephone bridge.
WCMN offers a "WebinarCast" system which
has all the standard features of a regular
Webinar but includes; Two-Way Audio
within the system, the ability to play
videos, no PowerPoint necessary, and can be
a radio "broadcast" show as well. (show =

listeners.
B.) Video.
* The presenter and any
participant can use a Webcam so all
participants can see them. The HOST of the
show, the Presenter has control to allow
when a participant can display their image
or simply lock everyone out so only the
presenter can be seen.
* Videos can be played
by the Presenter clicking a link. All
participants will see the video on their
computer screens.
C.) No
PowerPoint necessary.
* On the fly, a
Presenter can display any image from their
PC, from/on any website anywhere in the
world.
* Show Prep time is
eliminated as well as the knowledge of creating
a PowerPoint.
* The Presenter can
segway when necessary or in response to a
question and display visuals as well.
* A show does not have
to be "canned". You can visit any website
and all attendees' screen follow where you
take them. Your talk is relevant to what you
are currently displaying as you are not
forced to adhere to only your PowerPoint
images in a specific sequence.
